my only question is why did the ML invite his brother into his home, and what business could he possibly have with the MC if not to harm him in some way? The ML and his sister knew exactly what type of character their brother was– a violent abuser who treats omegas as lesser.
He didn't deny inviting him in unless I'm misunderstanding the translation. He knew he left his fiancé alone and unsafe, i'm sure he knew that the help couldnt rival his brother's decisions either. He knowingly put the MC in total danger and his excuses make no sense to me. Blame has to fall on him for that encounter.

I won't say that the rape was his only offense. The ML humiliated MC over a freaking document and forced him to oral service him, so add psychological and sexual abuse to the count. To order someone to "whore out" to save a relationship is out of proportion, and for what? Money? ML in his previous life was a chaebol very full of himself, selfish and cruel. He was demeaning and spouting ill comments to Sejin from start, like how his only reedeming feature was his face...

Yeah for sure. Just to clarify when I said "the rape" I didn't mean the single incident, I meant all the non consensual acts including forcing MC to give him oral and every similar incident. It's all rape and ML was sure guilty of that. We'll see how (I say "how" not "if" because let's be for real, they'll most likely end up together) MC comes to term with that and forgives him
Someone spoiled the fact that ML was an asshole to MC and went back in time early on so, all this time, I was reading this with that lens and I have to say that I feel ambivalent about the whole thing. In the previous timeline, ML had every reason to suspect MC because MC did betray him for his family. Also, ML did not offer up MC to the rapist. So, his biggest offense and it's a huge one was the rape. In tbe same timeline, MC was wrong for betraying ML yet expecting sincerity from him. I understand MC's trauma and his need for a family but betrayal is betrayal.
In the current timeline, ML was annoying. He couldn't make up his mind and kept playing this push and pull game with MC. He bounded with him yet didn't want to imprint. He wanted to give MC independence yet kept acting overpossessive. He promised to support MC during his big product reveal party yet did not show his face to him (don't give a shit if he did go there, what's important is showing his face and supporting his fiancé and he did not do that)....
Hence, the ambivalence...
