It's sad cuz ml never truly have him the chance to talk about his feelings. He's so wrapped up in what he thinks is the perfect new life and world for the MC and the regret he feels for his past that he still after all this time doesn't understand why MC even did what he did. Whats even more sad is seeing how defeated MC was after the assault in the past life and how he almost just egged ml for any reaction of concern but instead the fucker didn't care and blamed him for it. ._. makes you wonder who or why they were even given this second chance.
