am i the only one who hates the sister? like she's insufferable. MC did everything she could to hold the family together and help but she was only able to do so much because of her disability. she was disabled and could not marry out, so it was the sisters responsibility. if my sister was breaking her back trying to cover up my messes bc i'm irresponsible i'd do anything to pay her back, even if it meant marrying someone i don't love but who could tremendously help our family keep their assets and wealth because it's what my singer wanted.
but instead she ran away and left her sister and father in the dirt knowing there's only so much they can do. idc if the duke bribed her to leave so he could get his hands on MC, but the sister is unaware of his interest in MC. just plain selfish and annoying.
