okay, so according to what i gleaned from the author's twitter, it seems this was first supposed to be a short novel, then was supposed to be a 2-season manhwa story, and then finally became a 15-ch short story. so i am guessing a lot of things got cut along the way
Feels like the author wanted to rush the ending. Who knows what's going on their end, but you can tell the art in chapter 15 doesn't have the same quality of chapter 14. That being said, I don't think it was bad. MC couldn't escape being corrupted, but in his mind, if he can't escape hell, he may as well drag ML down to the bottom with him.
