At first, I really enjoyed it. Like, for real. I really felt the pain she went through, in BOTH LIVES no less. Both lives she was bullied and singled out. I cannot imagine how much emotional pain she went through and how stressful it was for her. I really liked how she's passionate about cooking, and even felt happy when her family started to basically grovel to her to get her attention.
It was going well until I started to take off my rose tinted glasses. I read some comments about how she forgave her family too fast and it made me realize how true that was.
She was hurt and the other Seniana was so cornered that she attempted to kill herself multiple times until she succeeded and was replaced by the FL. That says a lot about her family. They may not have abused her directly, but they ignored her calls for help, albeit indirectly, until she could no longer take it. I mean, she was failing in school, regularly threw tantrums, and wasn't open to communication. You'd think that as a family who loves her they'd actually figure out that she needs their help but instead chose to ignore her and isolate her.
They changed how they treated her after FL took over. Which means they only grew to love her when she came instead of the first Seniana. Really feel bad for her.
I also hate how the story is cooking. It's losing the essence. It's titled "The Young Lady is a Royal Chef" but the story is not even centered on that. They added a lot of elements that I could barely keep up. Like the Saint part and more magical fantasy additions that barely made any sense to the story itself. They should've just focused on the cooking and FL's independence. I bet that would've been more entertaining.
Anyways, it's been a long ride but I've had enough. Gave it a chance when it strayed from its original path but the story is just not cooking.
Anyways, I'm out. Never coming back again. It's been a good few years.
