Yeah I've read the novel and ML is a fucking vile disgusting human being. Literally has 0 empathy or compassion and thinks that the MC is his personal chew toy who should live a shitty life of suffering

Why does the artist keep making the heavy/tense scenes "comedic"?? Like I honestly don't understand the point. This is clearly a manhwa that deals with dark themes and we know how dreadful this experience is for the MC so why is there a need for these goofy ass scenes? Kinda distasteful in my opinion cuz I feel like it downplays the awful things that our MC is going through :/
