I wanted to reread but can't find the link in my bookmarks. The last chapter I read was explaining Chiaki's accident in a flashback, about how he lost his arm. And I think Inaba was old enough to be a smoker, timeline wise. I can't remember which chapter it was, but it wasn't translated back when I read it.
