Hard agree. I actually stopped reading this about a month or two ago so that the chapters could build up and we’d hopefully be getting somewhere. I popped into the comments to see where we were at progress wise and I see I should wait a bit more. (〜￣△￣)〜
I read the novel and it’s totally different ! Etienne and Rishar can sometimes argue but it’s never severe. They really care for each other. In the novel, Richard is a real green flag. I stop reading this because there were too much fillers with the novel and I came back to see if things were back to normal but it’s not. In the novel they manage to win but with difficulties. The empress is severely punished. The emperor realise all the mistakes and really make amends and help Etienne to win.

How much longer of this nothingness is left before some action? By action I mean…that snake ass empress gets her just desserts, that weak anss emperor dies, and/or everyone finds out Etienne is an omega? I feel like every week a bunch of nothing happens. It’s getting harder to want to read this.
