I was in the hospital for a total of 5 hours for an outpatient surgery and it cost 30k, not including the separate anesthesia and surgeon bill (which like wtf is that about)

i'm prolly gonna end up needing a specialty spinal surgery that easily costs $100k+ but i'm just putting it off as long as possible

So I have actually had brain surgery. My surgery alone was about $65,000 not inclhding my ICU stay.....the fucking helicopter life flight was $95,000.......thank God for insurance.
Maybe im just chronically American cause I was like
"Oh no hes been out for months.... that hospital bill is gonna bankrupt him for the rest of his life"
