Honesty was shocked from chapter one that black hair was top lmao idk why even til now the traits of what these characters have felt like it was supposed to be opposite. But reading into more I fuck w it honestly. Makes the story more interesting. And about their relationship, I really don’t think blonde guy has any romantic feelings for our Yunoh. Maybe the manhwa will pull up a ”doesn’t realize he’s in love!!” But with how the writing is going.. I kinda doubt it. I mean if you take closer look at how the author draws blonde guy, he’s showing signs of very possessiveness and dominance. But everytime their together, it’s very different kind of love u see on both sides. With Yunoh you can see clearly hes very in love with him. While Haewon barely never at all blushes or seem like hes happily spending time with him in a way you’d think a person in love would. He’s like normal about it basically. When spending quality time. Obviously not the bed time hhhhaha
So here’s what I’m trying to say, Haewon doesn’t have romantic feelings for Yunoh but he does have sexual attraction to him. I think that Haewon genuinely loves Yunoh as his family (family can have different meanings btw not trying to say it’s incest!!). And he’s willing to do whatever for Yunoh so that his one and only family doesn’t leave him. And I think that Yunoh knows that Haewon doesn’t reciprocate the same feelings he does. And that’s why we readers understand why he’s upset. Not trying to say that Haewon sees Yunoh as his son or something but I’m trying to say that people view family differently.. and knowing Haewon he also doesn’t have a stable relationship w his family either. And most of time in real life people in relationships always put their family first too. So Yunoh has gotten preferential treatment from Haewon + that it’s obvious Yunoh is Haewons favorite. Hence why we see him so possessive and dominance from him about Yunoh.
When it’s about age gap stories I just now realized most of the time the older person that was taking care of the younger doesn’t really have all that romantic attraction towards the other. Ofc some stories does but I guess they take into the writing and make the older one act like a parental figure or a guardian. In this case I feel like Haewon doesn’t ”love” Yunoh but he loves him. Loves him in a way that is different and more familiarly.
