The starting was ass I'm ngl, no backstory or literally no reason for anyones action. With that, everyones actions feel so bland and just without reasoning.
Mc had a bit of reasoning for his actions but that unfolded slowly, nakarmura, while it seems it's implied CSA, it's never confirmed, not that i would dismiss it, but literally it's never confirmed, not even symbolically, the readers have to guess what her condition is. I feel like it's the dad but idk the story literally never portrays him as anything other than an npc. So i find it hard to really feel anything for her actions, they just make no sense.
The girl, mc had crush on, seems she had a reason but the over obsession just didn't make sense. Especially cause this literally seems to be their first interaction. Her entire arc just never made sense to me, cause it didn't even feel as if her family was THAT bad.
And the current girl, seems she too feel in love on impulse, ik she was happy to have found someone that also liked books but didn't feel like they were that in love.
I feel like it's a unique plot that could've been executed better. With the back stories highlighted as an actual serious arc, i feel like this would've been so much amazing. Rn it just feels like so bland, like everyone had a moderate bad experience and then went to the extreme. Also seems everything just seems to work for them lol, there's literally nothing stopping them during all that first half.
After the timeskip, i will say, the story was good read, and I'm happy everyone got their good end and were able to conclude with each other too. But overall, i don't quite like this story
