In this story the ML is a diagnosed psychopath and the link I provided show screenshots form the author’s twitter. If you scroll down to about the middle of the screenshots she breaks down the whole psycho/sociopath.
You’re right, those terms aren’t used in the medidos field anymore, I think now they use terms like borderline personality disorder and other terms like that.
But anyway, hopefully this can help you answer your question.
What is the difference between a Sociopath and a Psychopath? Like I thought its synonyms and I used it interchangeably. I searched on the Internet but it just said that the terms aren't used in clinical treatment and the difference isn't much. But it said that Psychopaths are calculative and don't feel any guilt and on the other hand, sociopaths are erratic and they may feel guilt.
I would appreciate it if you could explain it with the help of characters from manga/manhwa/anime or even from movies.
