I can be since we are seeing things from Lily’s POV, his majesty has become less scary. The tones in his face have softened and the way they interact is more family like. I think it’s a storytelling choice

I'm really not, because damn all of them be gorgeous (except barat), but who is that man claiming to be emperor? Why does he seem more rounded? than before? like, the sharp jawlines are missing? am I hallucinating????
