So what I got is that Tita’s child, Shan, tried to absorb her entirely but couldn’t. She wanted to become Tita because she was trying to reverse time back to the time before she made the mistake of killing all those humans before their time. She was obsessed with idea of turning back time whenever she made a mistake but all it did was create so many timelines and had death chasing people, like Ian and Tauriche for awhile. Tauriche was a child who was switched to take the place of one of the rithiums but she ended up having the last soul fragment of Tita in her and that’s why Shan, who was masquerading as her own mother, Tita, was obsessed with Tauriche. Shan also in the past, used to possess Tauriche’s body at times and was in contact with Ian’s dad and Ian too. She was probably trying to find a way to absorb the rest of Tita from inside of Tauriche but couldn’t. Tita was also asleep the whole time all this was happening. She’s awake now. Shan’s plan was to take the star fragment out of the people who possessed them so she can be more powerful to carry out her plan. It looks like we’re nearing the end here now.

Yeah that’s what I got out of it too. I like how it all kinda makes sense , I’ve seen regressions where the villain has no real motive and the final battles make no sense. I saw people commenting how Ian and Tauriche had no chemistry together and their romance was unnecessary yet it all wraps up at the end with Ian helping them defeat the fake tita / titas daughter

It’s a little confusing to me but that is what I’m getting at it too.
