The young lord falls in love with a commoner but his dad send him away to study and forget the boy. So he studies hard for 13 years and when he comes back he's so desperate he puts up a bounty for the other guy. He's kinda scammed. And when the real guy shows up, the mc is already so heartbroken he orders the guy to be beaten up to a inch of his life.
And then, when he goes to apologize, the guy tells him "let's forget the past" and the main story ends.
The side stories are about how the mc redeems himself. But it's tough man.
The mc is a crybaby that looses composure all the time. He doesn't think before acting and, while his acts are understandable, he is not a good person. He's petty and a bit mean. Even though he riscs his life to save the guy, it was because he let te boy be in danger in the first place. They also refuse to communicate, but without reason to do so. And the parents! The older brother? All jerks. The mc suffers a lot and everyone is dismissive of him. Therefore, he grows up to be a mess.
Kinda bittersweet. And also, the mc has so many control issues it's borderline yandere. I didn't like very much. And they don't even kiss. The tension was build up, but I feel I got no release.
Edit: I was informed, with proof, that they do indeed kiss in future chapters. Maybe even sex, we don't know. But the kiss scene us very on-par with the mc impulsiveness.
