I mean given the fact that penelope is an adoptive daughter in a society that judges adopted children for not being of blood, it is very obvious that penelope would be scared of a full blooded girl coming into the household. It's not something that penelope would have had to say to eclis imo, to them its just common sense. another thing to point out is that penelope is in a video game so shes not going to see these ppl as anything but npc's. sure WE think what shes doing is wrong, but we're also readers who arent in her position, so i sympathize with her

What did she do? Yeah, she used used him from the beginning yet it was pretty much implied HE KNEW he was being used and he also played her. And after all, she provided him with everything she had, with those presents and stuff. She gave him a place to train with the sword, even though her family was opposed to it since he was a war slave. She even offered to take off his slave collar and he didn't want it. In the end, he was the one who choose to betray her for his selfish reasons
Idk if I missed something but I'm slightly confused about this situation. Penelope knew Eclis was bound to be a tragic love story in some shape or form. But this is where I get confused. Did Eclis even know that Penelope is scared of "Original" sister?? Sure he betrayed her, but the way Penelope ended it off with him, imo, was really wrong and I saw it coming from a mile away when he reached 90 and started getting obsessive. Idk maybe it all would've worked it if Eclis was at 50% or something
