I thank god this wasn't a different kind of story. Because if it was all of sangwoo's actions would've been treated as romantic and caring and totally ok with no negative consequences

I have met plenty of weakminded folks who would push the blame of their mistake on someone else just to avoid feeling guilty - they actually believe themselves to be the victims!, Sangwoo's no different.. so yea! Expecting a 'thanks' is very natural for his character.. why is this manga so realistic??!
I have no idea why they decided to make this story so realistic. I hate it because it makes it so hard to read and enjoy, but on the other hand I'm thankful it treats these problems as they are in real life instead of trying way to hard to make these characters likable. It also sheds a lot of light on legitimate issues people in this kind of relationship go through in a way that doesn't feel like a PSA.
