I have no issues with toxicity. What I do have issues with is ML's obvious redemption arc, which is just gonna be him saving MC from people who are even worse. It's cheap & predictable writing, which is disappointing given season 1 was really surprising (like Sooyoung telling ML to die). Idk why some ppl freak over criticism
im not freaking out babes but i don’t think it’s necessarily a traditional redemption arc, i think this author is very good and it seems more like it’ll be a way for sooyoung to fall into this trap and excuse jihwans actions to show how vulnerable he is in some cases (as anyone in his situation would be). i think it will serve more to highlight how calculating jihwan is because even now we’re seeing how sooyoung struggles to really get away from him before he’s even done anything redeeming
