I'm glad I stuck out and read through because gosh, the characters just keep getting better, and I love how everyone started out pretty normal and I got frustrated with some characters at first, but the author really shows how growth is not a linear journey, it has ups and downs (but not for Karaboshi lmaooo). I really enjoy Karen's writing and how she's strong in her own way. Akane and Karaboshi are just so silly though I adore them on screen
