I think the plot is wild. But gotta suspend disbelief with fiction.
And at the same time I can believe Gyeongdo as a person could do all that. Its very human. That album meant a lot to him because it's undeniable proof of how he was hurt.
Also I don't think all his actions and history were always solely motivated by the album the whole time. The album is one thing but his control issues and projecting his trauma explains his actions too.
