pmd got that conclusion because cr's story have the element of an idol going back to the past, although this time it was regression, this gives pmd a hint that maybe cr had an idea that for some reason pmd also came back to the past and became an idol (tho the reason why cr got an idea about pmd going back to the past is SPOILER ALERT!!!!! because in one of his lifetime, he confirmed that he's not the only one who experienced this thing such as going back to past as an idol but thats another story to tell in far arc)
