I don't get why the tattoo had to be the key to unlock the vault. That's so weird to involve your estranged son like that?

Kinda felt this coming but it's so sad seeing that the safe and all the secretive stuff with the tattoo etc was just a vault of the father's sexual assaults. Like, he viewed these as his treasures. How fucked do u gotta be to do that shit? I guess I see how the cycle perpetuates. Victim's lose their sense of control and power, so trying to reclaim that, Gyeongdo went on to do the exact same thing that was done to him. It's so sad :( (but also inexcusable)
