Ah I see. The way I read it was that Jiwon was always mentioning that maybe Jungwoo would be better off not dating him bc he idolized Jungwoo and felt guilty being with him, like he was somehow always going to ruin things for Jungwoo due to his crippling self esteem issues. IRL this push-pull dynamic is usually seen in people who have a fearful-avoidant attachment style, that usually happens from a combination of trauma and/or unreliable caregivers or both. As the reader it makes you want to just shake Jiwon and say “Stop sabotaging yourself” haha but luckily Jungwoo f’d some sense into Jiwon ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I’m hoping it stays this way
I'm sorry, but the conflict in this has ruined the story for me. Now, the anxiety and insecurities were fine, but whose first thought is to break up to date other people just to gain experience? That's unfair to the current partner and those who are being used strictly for experience. Believe it or not, you can learn the intricacies of dating with your current partner. I'm glad they talked, though, but some of the drama felt forced simply for the sake of drama.
