Submissive and very breedable man out of the way.. am I the only one who feels this has some pacing issues? I’m not sure if I accidentally skipped over some chapters due to the formatting but I feel like even when Han was depressed and he supposedly resigned and they said he wasn’t gonna come back he was just kinda back the next chapter? Like not even one chapter to REALLY mourn? I just feel like a lot of stuff are like thrown at us readers then there’s not much time given to let it marinate a bit you know?
I’ve also noticed that the world isn’t being built very well since they’ve actually resorted to either 1. Pulling the whole explaining while it’s happening where they somehow piece together answers where even readers didn’t have the hints to or 2. Random flashback with no foreshadowing.
I’ll reread soon to check if it’s just me missing out chapters accidentally but otherwise it’s a pretty good story and concept. Really reminds me of chainsaw man especially. Just wished we got more time to truly get to know everyone ands for them to develop. (I understand that the whole point of some of these events happening is that they’re unpredictable and hard to react to due to how fast they’re happening however, it doesn’t change the fact that the relationships between characters could use a bit more developing). Right now the best way I could describe how the story is flowing is that in a game when you see a red barrel you know not to shoot it cause it’s explosive.
Or when you see oddly placed rubbish or furniture it’s a wall the devs created trying to keep you within the boundary. Point is it’s not progressing based off actual character growth but more so because that’s what’s supposed to happen or expected. If you guys understand? Like oh they’ve been friends for 3 years they must be close but there’s no scenes of them ever spending time together so we can only say they’re friends because we’re TOLD that. Maybe it just needs to do more showing instead of telling or I just need to shut the fuck up. There’s definitely progress of course it’s just that some explanations are lacking.
ANYWAY back to that’s man’s waist oh my days and the teeth? HOLD ME BACK-
