You’re right. He’s barely changed his mindset. He hardly has any remorse for the way he abused Dan; his language is still very arrogant. This guy is a hopeless trash and each chapter continues to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve never been so repulsed by a story. Author-nim deserves a medal for that ngl.
To me, his morality switch seems a bit unrealistic. I mean, why would he just now start thinking that what he did was bad? A decent person, or even a just a mediocre person, would think what he did was wrong. It’s not just that I don’t accept the excuse that he was “only thinking about winning”, but it seems without reason. Or maybe I can’t think of a reason why a rapist asshole like him would ever change their mindset.
