I don't exactly know at what point in the time line we are but everything we've been told this season is:
Lynn, sister of (incredible fucked up) doctor's ex (Jill, that ex is also the image of s1 robot Gill), has heart failure so doctor puts fake heart that is managed by Anna who is an ai made by Jill and doctor when they were together. For some reason they broke up, and Anna was left in the box, apparently doctor told her that mom (Jill) was gonna come back for her. She (Jill)died somehow at some point idk.
Also the robot doctor has at home is also kinda made after Jill and is coded to love her no matter what but doctor is not satisfied cz is not real Jill I guess.
Then this last chapter was about Lynn's trauma with AI is relatively easy to understand, she's from a rich family against ai, Jill wanted to be ai engineer so family fought a lot, the stress made Lynn's mom have her prematurely so she's weak, then Jill leaves to follow her dreams the same night her parents are assassinated.
