I guess I'm the only one who likes MC. Of course I don't like or would make his same choices, but we are an external reader who knows what happens... He's a traumatized vulnerable victim, who has been betrayed thousands of times by everyone because of his brother, as well as is completely isolated because of him. Doubt he still believes he can get his brothers affection back but he believes he can be freed or maybe he just wants to believe it to keep his sanity. Even if I don't agree with his actions I honestly feel bad for him and I can see where he's coming from. The only two people he's around with, the brother and ML are the worst and smelliest pieces of shit alive, personally i would've probably killed myself by now but like comments say, I'm just as dramatic and pathetic as MC
