I never hated Diana, she was always too stupid to be a villain

She was really annoying though. But well... she already lost everything, and it was shown that at beginning she really did start out as someone who genuinely wanted to help others. And no matter how lacking she was as a crown princess, she did help people when she was a saint. Yeah, this is enough. Everyone's already moving on, including Helios, I don't see the point of making Diana suffer more? I agree with the kid, Diana should live an ordinary life, bonus if it's happy one. The late king knew she wasn't ready to be crown princess for someone who only lived in a narrow world as a saint and a village girl. I still blame Helios though.

Diana only knew Kael for a short amount of time, Helios on the other hand was Kael's best friend and they grew up as brothers. Between the two, the one most at fault for turning their backs on Kael was Helios. Plus, I'm still not forgetting that during the time Diana was being stubborn and unable to adapt to her role as crown princess, he was getting attracted to hestia instead of understanding the cause of his wife's mistakes. So in other words, if Helios is allowed to be forgiven, I guess Diana also deserves a chance. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I didn't feel Helios was attracted to Hestia at all in a romantic way but he appreciated her talent and wanted Diana to take responsibility (duty) like Hestia. On the other hand, Diana was wishing for Cale's love *again* and was openly showing her feeling which gave me the ick. Yes, I agree Helios was at fault leaving his life long friend but Diana was a narrow-minded bitch who think what ever she is doing is right. I don’t empathize with her at all. She got her appropriate punishment and that is how it should be. No one need to forgive her cause she never genuinely asked for forgiveness to the people who she really hurt.

I know, but no matter what reason he had, being attracted so someone else, just because you find your wife lacking is definitely scum. And also...

Nobody is forgiving her or trying to sympathize with her. From reader's point of view and my opinion, I think the plot should (forgive)/let her be now, since even Helios was technically moving on with his life, I think her ending is enough, whether she finds happiness is her business, she already lost everything so living an ordinary life should be a suitable ending for her, there isn't any point in trying to make her suffer or wishing her to suffer, when even the main characters moved on. There isn't a point in hating her anymore for me, and there wasn't even much reason to hate to begin with, cuz she was kinda brainless for a villain.

I don't hate Diana. Just dislike her because she is very anoying and an unlikeable character too fixed in her ways. I also agree with all you said about Helios but on that chapter they showed Diana's past, we see even as a saint she wasn't helping people out of the goodness of her heart. She just wanted to be praised. Her prayers as a child was to people to continue seeing her as a good girl or something like that, which as a child is fine. The problem is she continued like that the rest of her life. That said, I don't want further punishment for her. An ordinary life is perfecly fine.

I just reread just to be sure, anyways... At chapter 112, She did wish to be special, but the continuation of her wish was she wanted to be forever special, in a way where she helps, loves and is loved in return. "To be a good girl who helps everyone" I interpreted as... when she was a child, she did wish with good intentions at least when she asked for that wish. Then the chapter goes back during late king's death bed, where she says she cherished life and lived with conviction, "More blameless than anyone..." but at the end of the chapter, she screams "No" as if realizing she wasn't anymore. I think it showed that young Diana did have good intentions at first when she wished to be special.
