Oh please don't start with the trauma trope, I saw a lot of people deal with their traumas mostly avoiding whatever caused it. While I do believe ppl deal with it differently, MC here is still capable of thinking, rationalising at least, even a child would think in this situation he's a grown ass adult. This is not trauma this is stupidity.
Dude what are you talking about?? The MC doesn’t ‘trust’ his brother he’s fucking terrified of him. And as for the whole traumas thing, you said it yourself, traumas occur in people differently. For the MC he’s traumatized to the point that even the idea, now especially, of rebelling against his brother equals death. And even without doing so, he’s still at risk of being killed. This isn’t stupidity, nor a full trauma response, this is helplessness. Thats why the ML has started catching onto what’s happening.
