I usually don't watch J drama or k drama but my brother made me watch The Man Who Can't Get Married (about 10nyears ago I think) and it's become a favorite. The MC is my idol, he's hilarious

I also don't really watch them unless they're adapted from a manga I really liked (sometimes I don't even watch them cuz there's a few live action adaptations that did not live up to their parent source) omg I forgot about that drama series, it was funny af

the gap is a bit too much, especially thats hes 19 but it's cute and its fictions lol

I do consume age gap yaois but 19 and 47 just doesn't math right.

I can also recommend watching Mitsuya Sensei no Keikakutekina Ezuke, but tbh, the manga is much better than the adaptation. However, I highly recommend the K-movie 'Method'. It's not BL but a queer drama movie with one of the hottest MLM kisses I've ever seen in a fictional work.

I don't know if it's because the younger generation tends to only read webtoons/mahwas or get their rec from social media or what.

Also tropes and archetypes that get a high rating for webtoons are the same that give manga a low rating..kinda funny.
