I really really love the story, messed up characters are clearly my thing. But, I don’t like the child-like bottoms. Don’t take me wrong, I love the cute aspect and all, but the line between cute twink and child-like (sometimes literal child) in yaoi is pretty thin and I feel like here we have a good example of that) for exemple the second couple it’s clearly a teen (it’s said in a side story), and I don’t know how old was the bottom but it just make me uncomfortable. I liked the story and the art but it just make me feel bad when I read it. Like you can have messed up and crazy characters without having to put pedophilia in the mix. I know that talking about ethical things in yaoi is dumb and I agree with the “if you don’t like it don’t read it” but I have to read it once to know if I don’t like it, and I’m not a great fan of surprise pedophilia. I don’t know what came to me to ramble so much about that but I’ve been reading yaois for years now and I know how much messed up things people have written. but I’m a bit sad that author that definitely knows how to write original stories and make cool characters (plus draw very well) just normalise children’s in theses kind of stories. (Ps: don’t get mad at me for rambling under this yaoi comment section, I could do it in an another one, it’s not specific to this story alone)
