Hated the rape but I fully agree with this assessment. He sounds like he’s still trying to keep the mission going so it’s in his best interest to remain in Lorenzo’s good graces. At least he got a solid slap in.
I think the mission is out in the dumb. His agency said abort mission but enzo came after Uno anyway. Since we're reading as a woman our expectations towards how a person reacts to grape made a huge difference on how we see Rian reacts. I think Rian knows that whatever he got is because he willingly walked into enzos life. Yes it's grape it shouldn't happen to anyone but it did happen to Rian and he can't do anything about it, if it was someone else Rian would've killed them but it's enzo we are talking about.
