Honestly, in the traditional sense? No. Yohan was physically abused by his father that one time. And his family isn't very conventional bc his father who is just crazy and manipulative (the reason yohan's sis is hostile to him is bc she believes yohan is her dad's fav and always gets away with stuff which isn't technically true since the dad doesn't have a favourite, it's just a type of manipulation tactic)...and Yohan doesn't love his family and due to valid reasons.
Also, his family does know he is gay. Yohan actually dramatically came out (a quote by yohan's sister from the novel: "while everyone was praying for their family's safety and peace, this crazy bastard said that the one he wanted for christman was a boyfriend"). So, in a sense, he did manipulate kang jun to get close to him but it doesn't mean, he doesn't have problems with his family.
The major conflict, Jun and Yohan will have in the end will be relating to Yohan's relationship with his family.
