She doesn’t have much time left and she knows the only one who can save her is Genos but he is already the emperor and married and she has nothing to herself not that it would have mattered as her time was dwindling and all she could do to ease that was drink on her bed all day. Her son visits her and tries to take care of her but she lashes out and sends him away. Genos only finds out about her when he hears the MC mention in passing how helpless the MC feels bcs his own mother is passing away and he cannot do anything to prevent it and all the happiness means nothing. So anyways much like the og Genos, this one is also very much in love with his step-mother and as one may imagine, he was the love of her life not the gross old king but after everything it was all too late for both of them bit even so, he wished to see her one last time. He visits her and tries to have a conversation but it goes no where bcs she cant deal with the pain of being so close to him without touching him, without the feel of her love. She can feel her almost completely petrified heart wanting to soften just by his presence and that shakes her resolve she tries to kick him out but he doesnt budge in desperation and in pain she sobs out the helpless Genos lands a soft kiss nothing less the peck on her lips which instantly completely reversed the petrification, she almost passes out from the ease and instant relief from all the years of pain but not before she returns the kiss and falls into slumber muttering a soft, “what have you done….”.
