As someone who lives in a place that now allows same-sex marriage, I have no empathy for younger gay people of my generation who still
"seriously" date and marry people from the opposite gender, while in the closet: don't have the guts to come out of the closet? That's fine. But why can't you just stay single? Who the heck is forcing you to go and get married??

Bro imagine you’re the wife and after years of trying to gain affection from you’re husband you come to realize he might be gay and then his (unrequited I’m assuming)love of his life dies and then he brings his orphaned son in to play house.
