for me it's the same..it just feels like the typical "he's my destined partner, so I need him" trope...we don't really have any interactions where they see different sides of each other
yes! the characters aren't really getting to know each other it feels. yes, nick has met some of his family, lives with owen, and they have sex, outside of that what else is there? no dates, they don't really spend with each other either...
he's more occupied finding out why owen is doing this and that without actually asking HIM or trying to find out from him (if he is or has, i've already forgotten)
I think maybe its because he already asked him about this and that but Owen feels like he is a monster and doesnt feel confident so he wants to find out for himself why this happened and how it started because he already asked Owen those questions before looking into it. And for the date parts I think they might go on some idk but rn he realky just tryna take out Owens enemies
regardless the relationship still feels superficial. yes nick has good and non-malicious intent and i know this is eventually to create conflict between the two once owen finds out

i'm not trying to hate but i really can't help but feel their relationship is very surface level? it doesn't really feel like nick likes or loves owen outside of "that's my destined omega" and owen is just kind of going with it?
