I agree. But I think the alpha is supposed to be softie. But from spoilers he is traumatized and he's young. And you can tell he's been outcasted for not fitting into the role of a typical , not just a typical alpha, but of a DOMINANT alpha, to boot. So he's been pretty demoralized.
Josh is more mature too. I meant he's older, has a happy healthy family life, and is a father.
