Sorry,long rant here

I decided to check some novel spoilers. NOTE: I didn't read all spoilers so do take this comment with a pinch of salt.

First of all,some might hate me for this but I DON'T REALLY REAAAAALLY like the ML, I really hope the manhwa adaptation will add and change several things. Heck,the MC's father's behavior towards his wife was so angelic compared to the ML. At least the MC's father still has some respect for his wife unlike the ml who couldn't keep his dick in his pants.

So here's some spoilers I've read regarding the 1st timeline:

*MC and the ML fell in love with each other at first sight but the ML fell out of love because of her worsening behavior and the fact that she wasn't getting pregnant. Of course there's the mistress stuff too.

*There's no magic or brainwashing involved, the ML really fell in love with his mistress,the blue haired girl and got her pregnant.

*Some spoiler-giver kept justifying the ml's cheater behavior, blaming it on the MC's toxic and paranoid behavior. Well shit, she was manipulated her whole life and drugged by the nanny(the nanny is actually one of the first imperial consort's people), no wonder she's getting crazy and not getting pregnant. Instead of being worried because he supposedly 'love' her and check on why the MC's behavior is turning strange and not even check her health on why she wasn't getting pregnant even tho they've been together for years, he decides it's better to leave her on her own and fall for another woman and get her pregnant instead.

* The only one who really mourned the MC's death is her father the marquis,crying while hugging her dead body.

*No one knew until the end of the series that the MC was drugged and manipulated in the 1st timeline.

*The ML didn't remember the 1st timeline

*There's no side story of ML after MC's death in the first timeline.

*And lastly,NO. THERE'S NO REDEMPTION ARC because the ML genuinely fell in love with the blue haired girl so where would we get any redemption? Maybe he got some vague thought of MC after the her death but that's it. No crying or regret whatsoever.

It's been a while since I get to feel uncomfortable about a series I read, one of the reasons is because the ML really loved the blue haired girl and prolly got a happy ending with her in the 1st timeline without knowing what really happened to the MC, and I have this feeling that even if he comes to know,he wouldn't have cared anymore since the blue haired girl is finally the one he loves and treasures and not the MC anymore. Also,the fact that the MC and ML still ended up together in the 2nd timeline makes me so darn frustrated. Rant end.
