They must of thought he was a sacrifice sent from god or something, Ngl that church was probably a cult if they went so far to kill and torture him over and over again.
Also I find religious trauma type stories fascinating, like it’s so sick and twisted, they preach that god will be there with you and to love your neighbor, then BAM! Suddenly they do hateful disgusting shit and say it’s all in gods word in his light and that god is saving you, when all they’re actually doing is manipulating and hurting you.
No shade but why is it always the churches?? Same ppl preaching love are the same ppl doing this bs, same with the stupid protests round the country if u live in england, asw as the charlie Kirk nonsense, not to get political but sighh
