Why does everyone think that was the future and not the past? It would make no sense to have a story taking place currently and get a random flash forward. We've seen flashbacks but not forward.
It gave the impression that it was like a glimpse of the future. To make us expect the worst.. But I think it’s from the past. Possibly when Taeha’s dad came and ransacked his apartment? Taeha might’ve had a moment of distress..

Actually going back and looking at those panels again it’s hard to grasp what could’ve made Taeha look so lifeless.. Possibly when Haesoo was heartbroken after catching Mincheol cheating? He tries to play it off like he slightly enjoys Haesoo being upset, but it’s obvious he doesn’t..
So taeha gonna end up broken if that’s what in the future. seems like his brother gonna plot the plot
