I like that we get to see Roger as someone with actual personality. And that he’s not so black and white, he’s shown to be goofy and stupid at times. I’m sure there’s more to be revealed and I think the comments acknowledges that and haven’t reduced him to just an idiot and a simp. I also like the convo about Grap. Like some people think he’s a total sell out or brainwashing by the marines. Some think he’s trying to fix the system from within. Or that maybe he’s stuck in the marine for some reason. Sometimes I hate interacting with the One Piece fandom because they jump into conclusions and conspiracies. They will say that we were wrong about Rock and fell for propaganda and Oda’s tricks. While in the same breath ride Roger’s rating to him being a simp??? And willing to destroy things for a girl (as if it’s that simple). We literally don’t know the full details yet and obviously it’s not just about Shakky. Like hello? Are the stories not being revealed right now? why are we creating solid opinions over selective nit-picked info?
