For me Ronia, absolutely won't hold it against her since it's been more than clear she has horrible trauma from her family. And she is still recovering from the demon attack.
But I ain't forgiving Shize, like the crew scared off dudes for less than what her brother just pulled. Honestly, its feels like the author wanted him to see her reaction to the brother and the brother's action. But forgot the fact it doesn't make sense for him just to sit there.
Like a better way would have been for him to have had a day with Ronia. He leaves to do something and comes back to see the tail end of things. That way it makes more sense when he wouldn't have time to react as much as he did in the actual chapter.
Honestly if we are going based off the novel I think that's what happened after the demon attacked her she went and stayed with the beast men while she recovered and then went to check on her cafe either alone or she was dropped off there for a short period and then the brother showed up threatened her gave her an ultimatum and that is when Shize appears scares him off she passes out he takes her back home with him then calls in the wizard dude to check on her. The manga is definitely different even if I don't remember100% what happened here is definitely not what happened in the novel.
Because all I'm seeing is Ronia getting trashed on the recent... But I think her reaction and actions were valid.
First and foremost, she knew her brother might find her, yes-- but it isn't easy just leaving her cafe. It became her solace and she had already come to love the people in the town. It is her HEALING place, so it's only logical she would stay as long as she is able to.
Now, we all know she's all strong and "badass", but there's this thing called TRAUMA RESPONSE. All her life, her whole family DEGRADES her (except for MVP Grandpa). Her fiance, who was her strength and drive abandoned her, heck she still even cries in her sleep remembering the fucktard Prince. She isn't fully healed, she's IN THE PROCESS OF HEALING. People can't just poof forget the YEARS of abuse (emotional) just because she is profecient in all kinds of things. It's just so sad that people just want her to be a mary sue or saying she's a damsel when she's been trying so hard to heal and be strong for the people she cares about.
Lastly, Shize, my guy, yeah it was kinda off putting seeing him just watch and do nothing. But what can he do? Fucktard brother just barges in unprompted and goes on a rampage rant. As a "friend", and with the interactions, he isn't even a close confidant yet-- it wasn't his place to interrupt on what it may seem like a "family matter". I for one wouldn't know what to do in that situation-- because anything I might do might make the situation worse or even hurt Ronia further. But yeah, man's could have at least pried him off of her like bruh, use your brawns at least.
