His character, whuxh is basically butchered in the manhwa... It shows how he takes care of his hero and others. He is not even a crybaby nor he is all good hearted. He do things his way and following his values that he thinks will foster and rise his empire which he did
Read the novel, and you'll understand why mc is on the top rank.... Thus manhwa didn't do him justice
