Well applying for translator's seat ain't easy.
Most of the scan teams volenteer themselves for the job so unless you want to do it and will continue to do it for free as well as promise to invest your time in it, then you can step up for it.
When applying for the job they'll give u a page or so of the language you are opting for to translate.
They'll give you maybe like 2-4days at most untill the deadline which u have to complete. The earlier the better so that they will see that you are content and serious about translating.
After submitting your translation, their most experienced translator will check it and see if it has mistakes or not. If you don't make much mistakes then congratulations you are in but IF there are many translation error then you won't be selected.
It's basically like an exams
