THIS!!! I completely agree ! I have seen this pattern a lot with actually well , complex written characters just getting labels like red flag/toxic and it's so frustrating because people don't see how we need characters like these !! For me personally I always find comfort in those type of characters and then I'll go to the comments and just get... dissapointed

i'm so fucking sad right now it's not even funny.
i practically wrote an essay about jiho not needing a boyfriend but a responsible adult with no hidden agenda in his life.
and lost it by accidently going to a different page because my fingers are constantly shaking.
fuck this stupid baka life.
it's kinda tiring trying to defend a well written character that greatly represents how trauma can absolutely impact a person's perspective in life but apparently most of y'all will never be ready for that conversation, but hey, then again this community IS dominated by hypocrites who have absolutely no empathy whatsoever and just continue loving the more conventionally attractive character and continue bitching on a character with actually good lore
