- It's playing with word at this point. They aren't official mostly because she is out of town but it's pretty clear that they do have a romantic relationship going on regardless if it is labeled or not. It's also her own brother who is also aware of their situationship. I don't know how she couldn't feel betrayed once she know the truth.
- As for her being "controlling", she didn't do anything behind his back (like someone else I would dare to say) and Aurora didn't seems to strongly reject the idea for some reason. For her, it looks more like he is being shy more than anything. No need to come up with moral flaw on the victim here. It's literally a manipulative technique to shift the blame.
Anyway, this situation is messy and someone will get hurt. And I'm not here saying Asa & Aurora are the worst kind of people adn should be burned to the stick but I hope they will tell sooner than later the whole truth to Sara. Because even if you can't control who you fall in love, you still can be honest about it. I'm not that worry as Asa is shown as a very honest people even if he is REALLY confused right now. ^^
Asa never liked Sara, he's testing the waters with her because his friend's girl told him( the card's reading) that she'll get thing moving, not to go out with her as he took it. Anyway they're not official, and it kind of feels like a betray towards Sara for Asa and Aurora to be "playing" when they're attracted to each other. But again they're not official. I hope Asa and Aurora admit their feeling and be honest.
Also can we talk how Sara is trying to push that girl on her brother, when he's not interested and never asked for it, She's a bit controlling.
