im sorry did i miss something but what exactly did the cp do? As far as im concerned he wasnt entirely aware of how kael was really feeling and he didnt know diana lead kael on. The only crime he's committed is tolerating her and enabling her bc he loved her. Diana's punishment was more of due to her hypocrisy and inauthenticity, acting as if she was kind while secretly being barbed.
If she had been sincere in her apology, if she hadnt done the things she did, if she hadnt become greedy for power, she wouldnt have fallen so far. Hestia had shown willingness to let her vengeance be more shallow before but Diana kept reinforcing that vengeance by how she acted. All the CP did was tolerate the person he loved. So why should he also fall? Ntm that diana was complicit to the temple's corruption and she secretly had a superiority complex over ppl. Again, inauthenticity. That's why even the common ppl turned their backs on her. She portrayed herself as ppl's champion only to backstab them by trying to gatekeep resources from them. If she had been truly gracious, none of this would have happened to her.
Not to be that person but I hope diana gets to also have a redemption or maybe the crown prince(now emperor) has like a downfall cause why does the man always get away with stuff…
