Im sure this doesnt apply to everyone but grieving for 60 years, especially when applying it to a normal human mind, is enough time to move on and change.
She's been through enough trying to return to her original world but imo when she saw that they were trying to move on for the sake of the baby, it also snapped her out of the whole "I have to go back no matter what" mentality. Sure, she thinks that they've forgotten about her but us as readers know that they're grieving but dealing with their grief in a healthy way as to not neglect their infant. The way that Calypso grieved was not healthy when compared to what that. We know that she wasn't well because she gradually begins to lack care towards her own well being as she progressed with her 3 lives. I dont think everything in books need to be "resolved" to give a happy ending to, sometimes that "what if" idea being planted in readers heads is what authors want to do instead.
Another thing, Im pretty sure that the author just cherry picks animal traits that they want the characters and their specific species to show even if they're beast-people. The fact that killer whale pods are led by old, female whales are true. Male orcas do not care for their calf as they leave the female they have mated with, only females care for the young (again, matrilineal). Yes, herring do go in schools most of the time. Yes, the strong lives in the wild. Yes, orcas are the top of the foodchain in the sea since they have no natural predators. These are facts but a lot of other real life facts are ignored since this is a fantasy story. The other characters aren't ignoring the other children, the spotlight is on Calypso because she's a literal anomaly within her family. Being able to speak even though orcas are not supposed to be able to speak yet at the age she did, being capable of complex comprehension, being smart and actively manipulating the people around her (which i think some characters have noticed), and being unable to use the power of the water as proficient as her older siblings despite being sired by the strongest, Pierre. The tropes mentioned above is so common and reused because they work so well with making an OP mc, an OP mc seems to be something a lot more readers prefer becasue its gained so much traction over the years.
Another thing, i did hate Pierre too when I started reading this. I didnt like how nonchalant he was about his own children but the more you learn about him the more I think that he's just a guy that had fully given up on living. He's alive but not living. His wife is dead and his own power is killing him. Why should he put in so much effort into something so pointless? I think thats why when Calypso showed up and gave him a new purpose he started caring more and more about her. Even then, what is there for Calypso to be angry against Pierre for when he was always too sick in her other lives to even meet her?
If you want more details maybe you'd find them in the novel version. Manhwa and Manga adaptations of novels typically cannot afford to insert every detail as it can make them very boring for readers. Different medias for different audiences.

Okay fire plot and VERYYYY nice read so far EXCEPT
1. Hate how she just abandoned her adoptive parents from earth immediately. It isn't really logical considering she waited 60 years with continuous desperation to go back. Either it's a plot hole or she wasn't that sincere or decisive.
2. I like almost everything about Calypso except how easily she forgave her father. The guy wouldn't have ever given 2 fucks about her if she didn't meet him.
3. I also dislike the way the story just disregards the other children. It's obviously common in these kind of stories where our mc is the apple of the eye and everyone else just simps for her. But this story is honestly well written many aspects so it's quite weird that they'd follow such a common trope. Btw guys "The princess is evil" is one of the only ones where I saw the father loving all his children. It's really nice and wholesome in that aspect!
4. This one is just a personal nitpick but I haven't really noticed proper world building. Like where do the other siblings live? Who is their guardian considering this deadbeat fuck of a father won't do shit for anyone except the fl? Where are their nannies/guards?
Anyways if anyone knows the spoilers which explain 4 and resolve 1,2&3 then I would be extremely grateful if you could drop it below gang
