Some guys are so silly tbh. This is still considered as incest. Blood or not. That's why both of them have difficulty on conveying their feelings toward each other cauz they know it pretty well. That's literally the MAIN conflict before they acknowledged their romantic love for each other.
Personally, this shi tickled with my brain. The characters are written kinda well. They act like a typical high schooler would do (believe me or not). Realistically, the parents are kinda neglectful to not notice the signs early on. But whatever they have goin is of course romanticized by the author to fulfill the desires of some twisted people who want to wonder what it's like if this type shi scenario happens.
Overall, if u don't think too much, you could say that the message they're trying to get across is "Love conquers all." or something
