Loving this series so so much! Kiel is HILARIOUS in his way of simping lol
What bothers me is this Paradise Scan group that has the other chapters behind paywall, when they are a scanlation group, which means they are earning money on stuff that's not theirs (aka they do not hold the copyright of this story, the korean author does). They even have written on their website that they do not approve or condone sailing the seven seas...which is literally what they're doing, since they are a scanlation team. The hypocrisy lol Back in the day, scanlation was something that fans would do for other fans for free. But I guess nowadays people are tryna make money from everything, even from stuff that were just supposed to help other fans discover new titles. It's like if a fanfiction writer decides to put new chapter of their fic behind a paywall. It's just wrong lol because they are using characters for their fic that don't belong (copyright-wise) to them. That's why for example AO3 does not allow links to patreon or stuff like that. Fanfiction should not be lucrative, neither should be scanlation. People that say otherwise are just hypocrites. You wanna make money? Do something original, create/draw your own story with your own characters. Then yes, you can sell the chapters and make money from your own copyright. Or just build a website that hosts licensed titles not ones translated by fans foe fans. Then yes, you can paywall the chapters to your own liking.
